There is 20g of protein in every 100g consumed. The RDA (recommended dietary allowance) for protein is 0.8grams of protein per kilogram (kg) of body weight. So if you weigh 75kg, it is recommended you consume 60g of protein.

Salmon is low in mercury. Both wild and farmed Atlantic salmon have much lower mercury levels than most other fish species. Farmed salmon has on average, 0.05 micrograms of mercury per gram.
The red color in salmon is due to a natural pigment called astaxanthin, a carotenoid, which is added to their feed. Astaxanthin is an antioxidant which is a pigment which gives the salmon its characteristic pink to red-orange color. Wild salmon also get their color from astaxanthin, but they obtain it naturally by consuming krill and shrimp.
Fresh and frozen seafood and meats must be kept in the fridge at 0-4 degrees celsius or freezer at -18 degrees celsius. Whether fresh or frozen, if the packet is unopened you can keep it in the fridge for upto 3 days, however once opened consume within 48 hours of opening. For unopened fresh packets you can keep in the freezer for upto 7 days, in the case of frozen items upto 14 days (unopened).

When salmon is caught in the wild their diets are natural, which often results in a distinctively brighter colour. Our farmed salmon are fed controlled diets, free from antibiotics and are harvested in regulated environments. Farmed salmon tends to have a higher fat content than wild salmon
The difference lies in the temperature the salmon is smoked at, which results in a different taste and texture. Cold-smoked salmon is smooth, silky and tastes subtly smoky., Hot-smoked salmon is firm, meaty, flaky in texture and smokier tasting in comparison.
Our fresh salmon is certified sashimi grade. Within 72 hours of being harvested it is flown in to India and delivered to your home. During this process it is temperature controlled to retail taste and quality and not frozen.
