Lavin is responsible for overlooking the day-to-day activities at Big Sam’s.
After completing his MBA at Harvard University, he founded Big Sam’s with an aim to provide quality and honestly sourced seafood and meats to customers in India. Currently, he has over 11 years of experience in the industry.
When he founded the company, Lavin saw a gap in the Indian market, and with the help of his team, he aims to bridge the gap in the best and most honest way possible. He is driven by his passion to make Big Sam’s India’s most trusted name in quality seafood and meats.
Head of Social Media & Brand Strategy
With a background in marketing luxury goods and her MSc in Management from Cass Business School,
Neha joined the team primarily to help reach out to the target market via social media.
Neha wants to help create a brand that is synonymous with the best quality,
responsible sourcing, and trust of our customers.
Head- Procurement & Strategy
Praveen is responsible for sourcing and ensuring top quality to deliver the best product to our customers. His driving force is to be able to create healthy communities through food.
He completed his MBA in International Business from IIFT in 2009 and has over 10 years of experience in the industry.
As a part of Big Sam’s, he aims to create an impact in the growing F&B segment of India, by helping to build a brand that stands for honesty, premium food products and superior quality.
Animesh is responsible for managing the accounts & finance division at Big Sam’s.
After completing his CA, he accrued over 12 years of experience in his field. Having previously worked with some of the top companies in the country, he uses his knowledge to provide insights to the business and channel them for better results. The finance strategy team identifies and describes key topics for further development, growth & providing alternatives to the business problems.
As a part of Big Sam’s, his vision is to see the brand as the number one choice for quality and nutritious seafood and meats in India.
Dr. Dhiraj Kumar
Head- Production & Quality
Dhiraj is responsible for quality assurance, regulatory compliances, production and manpower management, fresh salmon operations and new product development. His driving force is to continually strive for improvement in quality and operations.
He has completed his M.F.Sc.(F.R.M.) and Ph.D and has 16 years of experience in his field.
Dhiraj enjoys working in teams where cultural and professional diversity enables learning and development.
Head- Sales (South)
Mithun heads the sales and business development wing in the south of India.
After completing his B.Com, he accrued over 16 years of experience in the industry.
At Big Sam’s he strives for continual improvement in his domain. He enjoys taking on responsibility, working as part of a team, being part of a positive work culture and being supported by his colleagues.
Head- Sales (North)
Anubhav is responsible for completing sales objectives, bottom line contributions and general quality of service in the north region of India.
He holds an MBA degree and has over 11 years of work experience in his field. He enjoys working in a transparent and ethical work environment.
As a part of Big Sam’s, he aims to make the brand’s products available at all the retail, wholesale & Horeca zones in North India.
Head- Sales (Retail)
Vikas is responsible for handling key accounts, brand development and sales. He overlooks the retails sales operations all across the country.
He is a graduate in Science and has over 10 years of experience in the sales industry.
He is driven by his strong belief in planning, innovation & execution. He enjoys working in a positive environment that fosters growth, development and learning across all levels. As a part of Big Sam’s he aims to make the brand a top contender in its category.
Head- Sales (Horeca)
Sandeep is responsible for sales & business development in the wholesale and Horeca division. As a part of his role, he manages supply of products to hotels across the country, ensuring our signature premium quality and taste.
He is a graduate in Commerce and has over 18 years of experience in the sales industry.
At Big Sam’s, he enjoys the transparent, committed & friendly working culture that fosters growth and development across all levels. He is driven by his passion to further expand Big Sam’s presence in the hospitality industry.
Head- Human Resources
Krrishan is responsible for training and development, employee wellness, HR policy formation and administrative functions at Big Sam’s. He oversees the recruiting, interviewing and hiring of new staff. In many ways, he serves as the link between Big Sam’s management and employees.
Krrishan holds an MBA from a prestigious university and has accrued over 17 years of experience in his field.
As a part of Big Sam’s he values the supportive management and transparent policies that allow employees to grow and develop their skill sets.
Deputy Manager- Marketing
Kedar is responsible for marketing, branding and design. As a part of his role, he helps design packaging, brochures and other marketing collaterals for the brand. He oversees marketing efforts to make sure that efforts are in line with monthly goals. He is also adept at photography and helps with directing product photoshoots.
Kedar holds a Fine Arts degree and has over 11 years of experience in the industry.
As a part of Big Sam’s, he enjoys the opportunity that he gets to showcase and develop his creative talent, and the impact he gets to create through brand design.
His vision is to see Big Sam’s as a top global brand in seafood and meats.
Swati is responsible for managing the supplier base to ensure top quality products for our valued customers.
After completing her MBA, Swati started her professional career and has so far amassed over 13 years of experience in her field.
As part of the Big Sam’s family, her vision is for the company to be India’s most trusted food brand. Her driving force is the freedom she gets to take decisions and the trust that her colleagues have in her capabilities to work towards the betterment of the company.
